Any vendor submitting a bid or a proposal to Cherriots is required to review and acknowledge the Federal Transit Administration Contract Clauses.
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program was created to provide a level playing field for small business owned by minorities and women that want to do business with the U.S. Department of Transportation and other agencies, including Cherriots that receive federal funds from the Department of Transportation.

Cherriots has established a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (“DBE”) participation goal of 4 percent for Federal Transit Administration (“FTA”) funded projects spanning federal fiscal years 2018-2020. This goal is in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, as set forth in 49 C.F.R. Part 26.
