Riding the West Salem Connector costs the same as riding a Cherriots bus

One way: $1.60   ($0.80 reduced and youth)
Day pass: $3.25  ($1.50 reduced and youth)

30-day, annual and universal bus passes will also be accepted on the West Salem Connector.

CherryLift is an origin-to-destination transportation service for people whose disability prevents them from using the Cherriots buses. A one way fare costs $3.20.

Youth fare: ages 6 – 18 
Reduced fare: 60+, disabled or Medicare card holders
Children 5 and under ride free

Reduced Fare

Riders who are eligible to use CherryLift can ride Cherriots buses at the reduced fare rate with a reduced fare ID card. Reduced fare ID cards are available at Customer Service, located in the downtown Transit Center. For more information, visit our Reduced Fare ID page.

 

Passes

One Way Fare
When boarding the bus simply deposit the correct fare in the fare box to pay for a one-way ride or purchase a day pass. Please have exact fare, drivers don't carry change. If you plan to transfer, you will need to pay the one-way fare on your next bus or purchase a day pass. Please note that Customer Service does not sell one way fares. The only exception to this is Customer Service does sell one way CherryLift tickets.

Day Pass
Unlimited rides all day on the day it is purchased. Purchase on the bus or at Cherriots Customer Service.

30-Day Pass
The 30-day pass can be purchased at any time during the month, but is not activated until the card is first used. Once the card is activated at the bus fare box, it’s good for unlimited rides for 30 consecutive calendar days. The expiration date is stamped on the back of the card when it is first activated. The 30-day pass is available for Cherriots buses. 

 

 

Annual Bus Pass
Unlimited riding for 12 consecutive months on Cherriots in-town routes only. Annual passes can only be purchased at Cherriots Customer Service.

Universal Pass
Unlimited riding for a calendar month on Cherriots in-town routes, all CARTS routes and Route 1X – Wilsonville/Salem. The Universal pass is not accepted on 2X – Grand Ronde/Salem.

RED Line Ticket Book
For your convenience, you can purchase a booklet of ten passes to use on the RED Line. Purchase ticket booklets at Customer Service or order through the mail by calling 503-588-2424.
