Update roll out begins May 13. Explore the latest improvements!

The latest Umo App updates will be released beginning May 13 (the updates will be rolled out gradually, so some users may not have the updates applied until later in the week). The updates are designed to make your journey more seamless and enjoyable. Members of Team Cherriots have been using a test version of the new app for several weeks and we love the updates - we think you will too! This article will walk you through some of the upcoming updates and improvements. 

Important Note: Once the Umo App updates, you will be logged out and need to sign back in. This means you will need your email, username, or phone number and your password. Forgot your password? Just reset your password and the app will send reset instructions to the email or phone number you used to create your account. Still not working? Call Cherriots Customer Service at 503-588-2877 and we will happily help you sign-in.

Improved Payment Flexibility
Riders can delete a payment method and use their stored value (cash balance) to purchase passes. This update ensures smoother transactions and greater convenience during trips, eliminating the hassle of managing multiple payment methods.

Enhanced Trip Planning
The improved user interface (UI) empowers riders with intuitive navigation capabilities. With significant UI enhancements, trip planning has never been easier. Whether exploring new regions or navigating familiar routes, you’ll find it a breeze to map out your journey and make the most of your transit experience.

Seamless Access to Discounts and Benefits
Riders can now find benefit codes conveniently located in the main menu and purchase flow, allowing for easy redemption of discounts and comped trips. It’s our way of ensuring you get the most value from every ride.

Once the updates are released, you can visit the online Umo Help Center to review the latest upgrades and elevate your transit experience. Whether you’re a frequent commuter or an occasional rider, these enhancements are designed to simplify your journeys.
