Spencer Rosenau currently supports the Oregon Health Authority’s Health Policy and Analytics Division, previously served as a legislative assistant to Representative Nathanson, and chairs CANDO, Salem’s Central Area Neighborhood Development Organization.

As a strong advocate for public and active transportation, Spencer is interested in opportunities to improve and expand service, including new mobility options that address first- and last-mile connections. He also brings a focus on accessibility, multilingual outreach, community listening, and equitable transportation options.

“Spencer brings a valuable combination of public policy experience, neighborhood leadership, and firsthand perspective as a Cherriots rider. His commitment to safe, reliable, and accessible transportation, along with meaningful community engagement and equity, will strengthen our work as we expand service and respond to the needs of the diverse communities we serve. We are delighted to welcome him to the Board," said Maria Hinojos Pressey, Cherriots Board President.
